- Images captured via the device camera or selected from the photo library
- Facial data derived from these images, including facial embeddings (feature vectors)

- Basic device and usage data required to operate and improve the app (e.g. app performance, crash logs)
2. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data solely to provide and improve the app’s functionality.
Specifically:
- Detect and recognize faces in images
- Identify registered family members
- Display names and family relationships
For example, when you point the camera at a family member, HomyKin processes the image to identify the person and show how they are related to you.
We do not use your data for:
- Advertising
- Tracking
- Profiling
- Selling data to third parties
3. Face Data and Image Processing
HomyKin processes images captured by the device camera or selected from the photo library to enable face recognition features.
These images are securely transmitted to our server, where they may be stored and used to generate facial embeddings (feature vectors). These embeddings are used solely to recognize family members and display their names and relationships within the app.
Face data is not shared with third parties and is not used for any purpose other than the core functionality described above.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
- Data is transmitted securely between your device and our servers
- Stored data is protected using industry-standard security practices
However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the app’s functionality.
- Face images and embeddings are stored to support recognition features
- Data may be retained while the account or service is active
You may request deletion of your data at any time.
